Back in September, model Aviva Artzy came and visited Portland. I had been wanting to shoot with her for a while from seeing a lot of her previous work. Something about her look was just so interesting to me. And luckily Portland was experiencing a bit of an Indian summer. So we went out to one of my favorite spots, Sauvie Island. At the time, the wind was pretty strong, and it was a getting a little frustrating to work with. But it seems it ended up working for the best. And my love affair with ocean river waves reached a peak after asking Aviva to go stand out in the water, despite it being really cold (such a trooper).

Wow, beautiful!!! I want to visit Sauvie Island now!!
Uh… yeah… these are basically amazing. Impeccable work Jon…
Thanks Jade and Laura!
